Alva Huffer will be holding a 1 sem. hour ABC course on Sat., Jun 7 & Sat., Jun 14 at Guthrie Grove. College Credit tuition= $149; Continuing Education tuition= $74.50.

This year's Africa Mission Team is Jim Mattison, Joe and Rebekah Martin, Erica Fitzsimmons, & Vince Finnegan. Please pray for these individuals who will travel to Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, & Kenya. If you wish to contribute financially, make out a check (ABC) & earmark it for the person (s) you'd like to assist.

Sister's Act: This month's activity will be an evening along the Reedy River. Bring a blanket and join Sister's Act at Falls Park on Tuesday, Apr 22, at 6:30 pm. Picnic food will be provided. Let Jenny Durham or Lynda Grant know ASAP if you plan to attend. (In case of rain, the meeting will be at the church)

At last Sunday's Carolina Conference Business Meeting, Roger Crocker was elected to serve the Vice President position vacated by Awone Rector.

Interested in attending General Conference 2008, hosted by the North Hills Church near Springfield, OH? Please consider serving as a delegate from Guthrie Grove. .

The theme of the 2008 Essay Contest is "God is One". See the rules and regulations on the entryway table. All essays must be received by Mary 31st.

The Board of Regents for the University System of Georgia recently met/approved the purchase of the ABC Campus. (ABC has the option of leasing the campus for up to 36 months. Plans are underway to expand to 2 sites in the Atlanta area. metropolitan Atlanta area (One to the South, and one to the Northeast).

We need YOU to participate in a Church Clean-up/Pick-up Day (Saturday, Apr 26). Come join the youth and help beautiful our church grounds.
