February 07, 2010
Welcome to Guthrie Grove Church of God. We're glad that you are here, and pray that your faith will be strengthened today. It's been said, "To believe in the unseen is both a triumph and a blessing." As individuals, and as a corporate Body, we walk by faith, not by sight; we look at the unseen which is eternal.

Welcome/Concerns and Celebrations of the Congregation ~
Call to Worship ~
Responsive Reading: 1 John 3:16
(L) By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.
(C) And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Hymn #434, Jesus Loves Even Me
Invocation ~
Receiving of Tithes and Offerings ~
"You should each give, then, as you have decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly." (2 Cor. 8:7)
An Offering in Song ~
We Worship in Song ~
As the Deer
1. As the deer panteth for the water, so my soul longeth after Thee. You alone
are my heart's desire, and I long to worship Thee.
(Chorus) You alone are my strength, my shield; To You alone may my
spirit yield. You alone are my heart's desire, and I long to worship Thee.
2. You're my friend and You are my brother even though You are a King.
I love You more than any other, so much more than anything.
3. I want You more than gold or silver, only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy giver and the apple of my eye.
Holy Ground
We are standing on holy ground, And I know that there are angels all around;
Let us praise Jesus now, We are standing in His presence on holy ground.
