February 14, 2010

Welcome to Guthrie Grove Church of God. Elizabeth Prentiss, the author of our closing hymn wrote, "To love Christ more is the deepest need, the constant cry of my soul out in the woods, & on my bed, & out driving, when I am happy and busy, & when I am sad & idle, the whisper keeps going up for more love, more love, more love!" May we feel the love of God and of Christ in a special way today, and may we all leave whispering with gratitude, "Surely it has been good to be in the House of the Lord."
