A sign-up sheet was circulated last Sun. evening concerning the upcoming AnMed Blood Drive. Please sign up to give the "Gift of Life" on Sat., Mar 15. (Recent church sign message: "Jesus was the First Blood Donor")
For years, March has been designated "Marching for Missions Month" in the Church of God. Next week, Dr. Joe Martin of Atlanta Bible College will be here to collect a check ($10,000) for the purchase of an African Van.
Pastor Joe will also deliver the mornings message, in the absence of the Montgomery family who will be participating in Kara Huffer & Justin Taylors wedding in Tempe, AZ.

The theme for the 35th Annual Christian Workers Seminar is Coram Deo (In the Presence of God). Registration Deadline for this popular event is Mar 14th. Check out the forms on the entryway table if interested. The Carolina Conf. will pay some, & Guthrie Grove will pay $77.25. (Off the lowest tuition cost)
An Easter Sunrise Service is being planned (In conjunction with our sister Churches). If you have some good ideas, or would like to volunteer your time and talent (Special music, drama, setting-up, breakfast, etc.), please speak to Pastor Mike right away. Thank you.
As the Hospice of the Upstate enters their 20th year, they will serve over 1000 patients in both home settings and at the Rainey Hospice House. Many bereavement services are available to families in the community, to help support them in the grief process. One way you can help support Hospice of the Upstate is by participating in the Celebration Bouquet Fundraiser. See the form on the entryway table for more details.
There will be a meeting this afternoon at 3:30 for the Pastor, Elders, and Deacons. The purpose is the discuss the upcoming small group meetings. In the near future, Deacons will be leading in the meetings to listen to congregational input concerning future ministry opportunities. Please be prayerfully considering what it is that God might want to do through Guthrie Grove Church of God.
