Awone Rector has resigned as Vice President of the Carolina Conference Board. Her remaining 2 and a half year term will be filled at next Sunday evening's conference meeting at Bethel. Please pray about filling this position.

It's time to start planning for the end-the-school year (And summer) activities. Lisa Pack will coordinate our 2008 Graduation Sunday Program. If you're a 2008 High School or Post-High Graduate, or know of a graduate, please contact Lisa.

We appreciate all who stayed to support last Sunday afternoon's fund-raising luncheon. Over $1800 was contributed to the Beth Simpson Memorial Fund.

Sister's Act will meet this Tues., Mar 18th. Please bring a covered dish to share. Donations of individually wrapped candy/plastic eggs will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all who donated blood yesterday at yesterday's AnMed Blood Drive.

Congratulations to Harold and Mary Ann Durham upon celebrating their Golden Anniversary yesterday afternoon. May you feel God's love and blessing in a special way as you have reached this milestone in your lives.

Congratulations to Lindsay Smith & Brandon Fricks upon their recent engagement. May God bless you both as you make plans for your December, 2008 wedding.

Guthrie Grove is allowed 5-6 delegates to the Summer General Conference. If you are interested in serving, please let Joe James know.

Easter Lily orders are still being taken today. Give your form & $10 to Sheila, Wilola, or Mary. We appreciate all who have ordered Lilies in memory/honor of a loved one. (List will be included in next week's bulletin) Lilies may be taken home after next week's Morning Worship or evening Communion Service.

We appreciate Travis Winner and all our Sound System/Projection operators. Please let these individuals know as early as possible what your Sunday morning needs might be, in order to ensure the best quality of sound, etc. It takes awhile to coordinate CD's, DVD's, microphones, etc. If at all possible, plan to practice with our Sound Staff during the Sun. School hour for morning worship specials.

We're pleased to have the children of Junior Church participate in this morning's service. Next week (Easter Sunday) our children will be joining us for worship, as well. We appreciate our Jr. Church leaders and volunteers, as well as our parents who are "bringing their children up in the instruction of the Lord".

This past Tuesday night, Cole Davenport represented Spearman Elementary, and Kyle Morella represented Wren Middle at the Regional Science Fair at Clemson University. Cole received a Gold Award for Physics. Kyle also received a Gold Award for Physics, as well as the Michelin North America Award for Physics and National Society of Professional Engineering Award.
