Pastor Jim, Cory, and Jamie are participating in the youth retreat; Pastor Mike, (Myra & Jennie) are attending Troy View Church of God’s 50th Anniversary Celebration (Troy, OH). We appreciate Lee McMinn (Former pastor/ABC graduate) bringing the message from God’s Word this morning.

We will celebrate the ordinance of Communion this evening at 6 pm in the sanctuary. Guthrie Grove practices open communion. If you are a baptized member of the Body of Christ, please feel free to participate in this Scriptural command.

The van was filled that traveled to Apple Country in Hendersonville last Tues. morning. Everyone enjoyed the crisp mountain air, meeting J. H. Stepp, picking & purchasing a variety of apples, and eating out together.

Another trip to the mountains (Fall Foliage Tour) is being planned for early November. More details will be forthcoming.
