Call to Worship ~
Responsive Reading (Selected Psalms)
(L) Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me.
(C) Praise the Lord, the God who is our salvation. For each day he carries us in his arms.
(L) Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me.
(C) The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace.
(L) Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
Hymn #298, Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Invocation ~

Receiving of Tithes and Offerings ~
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work: 2 Cor. 9:8

We Worship in Song ~
I'd Rather Have Jesus
1. I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold;
I'd rather be His than have riches untold;
I'd rather have Jesus than houses or lands.
I'd rather be led by His nail-pierced hand.
(Refrain) Than to be the king of a vast domain,
or be held in sin's dread sway.
I'd rather have Jesus than anything this world affords today.
2. I'd rather have Jesus than men's applause;
I'd rather be faithful to His dear cause;
I'd rather have Jesus than worldwide fame.
I'd rather be true to His holy name.
3. He's fairer than lilies of rarest bloom;
He's sweeter than honey from out of the comb;
He's all that my hungering spirit needs.
I'd rather have Jesus and let Him lead.
